All About Us

     My love for Golden's began when I was 3 years old, to a dark golden named Pookey...He could make any boo-boo better!  I knew in my heart that one day I would have a golden as great as Pookie for my children to love.  Fast forward to 2012, we got our first golden named Maggie. At the time,  I was teaching at a small private school and was able to bring her to school with me daily. The kids would take turns carrying her in a baby sling during their lunch breaks; which didn’t last too long, as she grew quickly! 😊  She loved the kids and they loved her.  She would play on the playground with the kids, walk them to their special classes, or lead them to the office to make copies. She became our class mascot. Needless to say, I passed the love of Goldens onto my 4 children who now play a big role in raising golden retriever puppies.  In 2017, after looking for several years, we finally found the perfect piece of property to raise our goldens where they could run and play and enjoy the great outdoors.  We are now living the dream on a our small farm with our goldens, kitties, 2 horses, 3 goats, and 8 chickens!
